Psychology
A field so random as it is mysterious. Some even might say, barely scientific. Yet, it has real world results. And that’s what we will be focusing on, RESULTS.

ToggleWhat is Psychology?
Let me begin by clarifying what psychology is and why so many are confused as to how it works and how it can be used. Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behavior based on empirical evidence. It explores how people think, feel, perceive, and act, both individually and in groups. Which makes it a very powerful factor in our existence.
This field can either destroy an individual or heal him, sharpen him, and transform into something great.
What is Perception?
One key component of psychology is PERCEPTION. Sweet mother of Lord Jesus, this one brought so many challenges to billions of people throughout the entire history of humankind. Why?
Let me tell you a story.
I trained in many different Sports throughout my life. Martial Arts were one of the most influential, because it taught me how to be tough (physically and mentally), it taught me self-defense but more importantly, it taught me that my Perception was wrong. On alooooot of things.
In my childhood, I was an arrogant and wild kid. Arrogance is part of the Ego, and Ego is born out of Fear. Thus, the reason why I was arrogant was Insecurity. I felt that I wasn’t strong enough, not smart enough, and I had to compensate. I HAD to. Somehow. Based on just simple instinct of survival and battle for the higher places in the hierarchy.
When I came to train for the first few weeks in my Martial Arts school, I was baffled as to how advanced athletes were not just physically capable, but extremely Humble and Kind. This was a complete opposite of what everyone taught me or showed me, especially through Hollywood movies and other media.
And after a few months I understood why. I endured punishment, shame, frustration. I was so Bad and Weak compared to others, that this experience brought my Ego down to the level that I actually was in reality.
My Perception of myself was destroyed and in the following years reformed. The Ego was nonexistent anymore and I learned Humbleness and Humility. But most importantly I gained… Inner Peace…
PS: Especially after a guy in his late 40s with a huge dad bod that looks like a dude who knows only beer and how to party, threw my rear around like I was a toy and used my entire body in some sort of a “Surfboard” technique. Will never forget that! Haha…
And yeah, he was my teacher. Double Hurt!
Anyhow, the point is, the danger of perception lies in its desynchronization between what we think / perceive us to be in our heads and the actual, factual reality. And that, my dear reader, is painful at the very least and extremely dangerous at max.
There is a reason as to why there is such a thing as Napoleon Syndrome. Remember THAT guy? Yeeeaah… Didn’t end very well for a lot of people, including himself, did it?
Perception and Reality
Now that we have covered the importance of correct Perception, lets take a look at the Chaos and Order aspect of Psychology.
Perception acts as a bridge between two one-way streets, which are Neuroscience Angle (Order, Sensory Processing, Neural Synchronization, Neuroplasticity) and the Subjective Angle (Chaos, emotions, memories, culture).
Perception blends these two into the reality that we all know and experience.
To put it into one sentence, if you want to improve yourself outside in any capacity, you need to take care of your inner house first.
